Don't Sweat The Small Stuff for Women
by Kristine Carlson
Simple and practical ways to do what matters most and find time for you.
This is a wonderful book that helps you to get to know yourself better. It gives you a real lift and inspires you to go that extra mile in your quest for self-improvement.
My baby daughter Marika definitely has put me in an altered state of readiness. As Kristine says in this great new book, it's best to discover how to deal with life as it unfolds, rather than stress out in negative anticipation of what may or may not happen.
Each chapter deals with different ways to focus on what can go right, not what can go wrong. From getting rid of unwelcome friends who just seem to clutter your life at times, to problems communicating with your partner, it sure helped me to see where I was going wrong.
Sometimes it's hard to get started on new projects. Kristine shows us how to cut to the chase and stop making excuses in a simple and painless way.
I guess the most important thing for me was the encouragement to 'speak from the heart', as Kristine puts it. That section alone was worth the price of admission.
